Been a busy little bee of late designing and making new cards for the local shops, got to get those pennies rolling for all this lovely new stash I keep obtaining!
Finally got an Artz girl to play with and one of Tracy's Funky kit jewellery kits, can't wait to get making.

Had a beautiful pedicure this morning and it is amazing how sorting your feet can make the rest of you feel.
I'm going to go and channel the energy on something creative, either that or iron and until I run out of clothes to wear, creative wins hands down every time!

Another day passes and the village Gala is in full swing although with the weather not brill we haven't attended much. Today was the kids games on the front, my two went down but 1 spent the whole time playing football and the other rolling around in the grass. Still they got sweeties at the end so they were quite happy.

Karen a fellow crafter gave me a LO of my sons birthday instead of a birthday card which I thought was a great idea and something to keep so yesterday I added a photo and a wee bit of journalling as I want him to remember who and where it came from.

Hurrah I managed to finish the Elgin crop challenge from the beginning of the month which was to do a double LO using bazzill and a sheet of s.e.i such a boy card stock tabs, frames and labels.
These stickers are new to Papercrafts in Elgin and I think went well with my bazzill papers. Looking forwards to the next crop challenge when Karen gets back from over the pond with lots of new and scrummy ideas and products, plus a happy hubbie!!

Guess what?

Jo and I actually got some scrapping done yesterday afternoon, yippee!

I managed to get more upto date with my UKS Scottish word journal, adding sicht, blether and skinny malinky only bosie left.

Today I have been mostly doing housework and washing!!
Don't you just love it when your other half comes back from a trip with a mountain of dirty clothes, NOT!

On a lighter side I have a friend, Jo, a fellow Scrapper coming over this afternoon. We are both hoping that all our boys will play nicely together so we can sit and play. Ever hopeful!!
Are we expecting too much only time will tell?!

Back up from visiting parents. The boys have enjoyed time away with Biker Gran and Grandad!
Now they have their dad back from sunnier climates too. (Hopefully that might mean I get some extra crafting time in!)
I wonder how Karen (Papercrafts, Elgin) is getting on at the Trade fair in Chicago????!!
I hope she brings us some nice new products home to play with for the Christmas classes.

Today I have mostly been making a baby box!

I have kept it simple as I think this looks better. Let's hope the friend I have made it for will like it.

I'm away now to hear my wee one sing, arh!! Should be interesting.

I can't believe it is the end of term already.

LET THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS COMMENCE and watch my crafting slide (with 2 boys in tow!)

Finally for today my design team work I have completed for our local craft shop Papercraft's in Elgin. I have used Creative Imaginations paper by Samantha Walker to produce a range of paper craft items. Having two boys I really enjoyed using this paper with cars, trains and boats on it all of course double sided plus a sheet of matching stickers.
I would like to finally thank "Stressed" from UKS for permission to use her train template as a sample with these papers. You can buy the template from her website @ http://www.aandhcrafts.co.uk/
I love the castle!
You will also be able to pick up the papers in a kit soon on the Funky kits site http://www.funkykits.co.uk/

I managed to forget the baby notelet in with the others but got there in the end.

Phew, teachers presents out of the way. This year my eldest son's teacher is getting married so we all clubbed together for his present. I made a keepsake box and a book with a sheet from each of the children in the class sending him well wishes.

My youngest goes to two playgroups he has at least 6 teachers. One group of three we have got together and are getting flowers, but I've made a card and a little keepsake mini book from my son. The other group also have the mini books but 1 girl crafts and has got a pressie to play with and the others have got a selection of notelets, quickly made up last night!

Gosh today it rained in fact it has been wet all week but this was RAIN. It reminded me of a trip to Florida before kids when hubby and I left a cinema wondering why everyone was sheltering from a bit of rain. We were wet to the skin by the time we reached the car and realised why all the sensible folk took cover. It is still raining but not as bad. I feel for all the people flooded out of their homes at the moment it must be a nightmare.

Today my youngest got to go to nursery to play and loved it so much he didn't want to come home. He can't wait to start in August. My eldest announced who he has for next year saying she is VERY strict, to which I thought hurrah, he needs it!

On to crafting a very special person Mabel who has become our surrogate granny up here had her birthday this week and this was her card.
Mabel has helped me with the house and the kids for years and has finally decided in her 70's to retire, I only hope I have half her energy at that age and she will be dearly missed by not only me but the boys too.
I hope she will pop past for coffee now and again and keep in touch.
